Our Warranty

ISLAND COMFORT LIMITED WARRANTY

  1. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser of the Island Comfort & Health item and must have original copy of our invoice.

  2. Merchandise sold "as is" is not covered by our limited warranty.

  3. Warranty covers against defective material or workmanship and does not cover damage resulting from any accident, natural disasters, misuse, mishandling, or normal wear and tear.

  4. Warranty starts with the date of delivery and is good for the time periods and terms and conditions stated below:

  • All MECHANISMS, WOOD FRAMES, AND FRAME PARTS on dining sets, cabinets, bedroom groups, sofa sleepers, sofas, chairs, and recliners are warranted against defective material or workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR.

  • COMPONENTS such as springs, zippers, padding, and filling materials are warranted for a period of ONE (1) YEAR.

  • CHROME AND BRASS FINISH is warranted for a period of ONE (1) YEAR.

  • LEATHER AND FABRIC is warranted for a period of NINETY (90) DAYS or as warranted by product manufacturer.

  • MASSAGE CHAIRS comes with Manufacturer's Warranty.  Please refer to each products information.

  • MATTRESS AND FOUNDATION comes with Manufacturer's Warranty. Please refer to each products information.

  • GLASS, MIRRORS, AND MARBLES and others not mentioned in above sub-paragraphs are NOT WARRANTED after item has been received in good condition.

  • COMMERCIAL USE: No warranty is offered for products purchased and/or used for commercial use.

 

Exception to this warranty is merchandise with special manufacturer's warranty, which may include additional coverage or years of warranty against defective material, parts and/or workmanship.  Your merchandise will have a warranty tag.

PROCEDURE FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS

  1. Customer must promptly notify our store and explain the defective material or workmanship of the merchandise before warranty expiration date.  Island Comfort & Health may ask you to contact the manufacturer directly if that is the manufacturer's procedure for accepting claims.

  2. Customer must show written proof of purchase and date of purchase.

  3. If Island Comfort & Health determines that the defect is warranted, Island Comfort & Health or product manufacturer will repair or replace the defective parts or item.  No furniture covered by the warranty will be replaced if Island Comfort & Health or manufacturer determines that is is repairable.  If a product cannot be repaired, and replacement is unavailable from the manufacturer, then the customer will be given a full credit towards a re-selection.
